3D Modeling Portfolio

3D Models

Welcome to my 3D models section of my portfolio. 3D modeling is one of my favorite aspects of game development. I especially enjoy creating models in a “low-poly” style.

Skatepark 3D Model:

This is a scene of an entire skatepark that I 3D modeled and rendered in Maya. I chose to use the plain blue, metallic material because years ago, there was a well known manufacturer of ramps for skateparks that made a lot of “prefab” ramps and pieces for skateparks that used this blue colored metal for all of their products. Many skateparks around the US still have these blue metal ramps in their skateparks.

Building Render:

This building was 3d Modeled to showcase a concept of adding a built-in wheelchair ramp in front of a building. This also showcases and displays a new directory for the building as well.

Mini Golf Course:

This mini golf course was 3D modeled in Maya, and also features the use of a particle system to represent a waterfall in the small pool are beside the ramp to go up to the hole on top of the course.

Paintball Shooter Map:

Traditionally, you would create the assets for a map in a 3D modeling software, however I chose to create an entire map for a shooter game in Maya, inspired by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019)’s popular map “Speedball” that took place in a paintball arena. This was created in the fall of 2021 and was my first ever large scale project as a 3D modeler.
